正規の薬品ではないものＲＭ600、000相当を押収

[ マラッカ ] 厚生省はここ３日で50人の職員を投入し、ＲＭ600,000相当の正規でない薬品などを押収した。

押収は中国薬局、コーヒー豆製粉所、ナイトマーケットなど２０箇所、500種類にのぼった。また、インドネシアやタイ、中国本土から許可なく輸入されていた薬品もあったという。

バトゥ・ブレンダンのコーヒー豆製粉所では、コーヒーパウダーに男性の勃起機能不全をひきおこすシルデナフィルが見つかった。シルデナフィルはマレーシア国内においては医師の処方がないと入手できない薬品。

Unregistered drugs worth RM600,000 seized

[ MALACCA ] Enforcement officers seized RM600,000 worth of drugs suspected to contain poisons and unregistered with the Ministry of Health in raids over the last three days in the State.
Deputy director of Pharmaceutical Services, Dr Ahmad Mahmud, said 500 types of drugs were seized at 20 premises, such as Chinese medicine shops, a coffee mill and pasar malam (night market) stalls.
The products confiscated included those that were imported without permits from Indonesia, Thailand and China, he told reporters here.
Ahmad said the three-day operation involved 50 enforcement officers as well as the police.
At a coffee mill in Batu Berendam, he said, the officers found that a poison containing Sildenafil - a drug to correct erectile dysfunction - was added to the coffee powder.
"Sildenafil is only given under a doctor's prescription and can have adverse consequences for heart and diabetic patients," he said.
