救急車が横転、患者他４人が負傷

【マラッカ 】昨日（9/5）午後12半ごろ、心臓に疾患を抱える69歳の女性を搬送していた救急車が南北ハイウェイのアヤー・ケロー・インターチェンジ付近で横転し、乗っていた患者を含めて４人が負傷するという事故が起きた。この女性はマラッカの病院で頭の治療をしたのち、心臓疾患の処置を受けた。容態は安定している。事故の原因はタイヤのバーストにより車両が横転したもの。付き添いに乗っていた27歳の娘と、ドライバー、救急救命士も軽傷を負った。27歳女性は救急車が横転する直前に何かはじけるような大きな音を聞いたと話している。

Heart patient and four others injured

[ MALACCA ] A 69-year-old heart patient has more to worry about now than her heart.
She suffered head injuries when the ambulance that was taking her to the National Heart Institute (IJN) was involved in an accident at Km204.1 of the North-South Expressway close to the Ayer Keroh interchange.
The patient has been warded again at the Malacca Hospital for treatment-- hours after the same hospital referred her to IJN.
The patient's 27-year-old daughter who accompanied her, the ambulance driver, a staff nurse and a community nurse, where also inured, in the 12.30pm incident.
it is believed that the ambulance skidded after a tyre burst.
Malacca Hospital director Dr Abu Bakar Mohamud said the injured victims, including the heart patient were in stable condition, while the community nurse, who suffered light injures was given out-patient treatment.
All the victims were conscious when they arrived at the hospital, he said.
"The patient's daughter heard a loud sound seconds before the ambulance crashed," he said.
The ambulance left the hospital at about 11am sending the patient to IJN for further examination and treatment.
