65才女性がひったくりに殺害

ブキット・メルタジャム：今度は65歳の女性がひったくりの被害にあった。この女性は昨日の早朝オートバイに乗った６人組の男に待ち伏せされ、顔や胸などを負傷した。その後病院に運ばれたが、ショックによる心臓麻痺で死亡した。亡くなったのはチェン・ムーイ・ティアンさんでオートバイで自宅から1ｋｍ離れた寺院に福祉の仕事に行く途中、午前6時ごろに襲われたとみられている。ひったくりグループは彼女から財布や貴金属を奪って逃走した。

BUKIT MERTAJAM: A 65-year-old woman who was on her way to do welfare work at a temple became the victim of a snatch theft early yesterday and died in hospital later.
Cheng Mooi Tiang was riding her motorcycle from her house in Taman Sejahtera here to the temple about 1km away at about 6am, when she was said to have been waylaid by a group of six men in Taman Sri Rambai.
Seberang Prai Tengah District Police Chief Supt Zainal Abidin Nin said Cheng fell off her motorcycle and injured her face and broke several ribs.
"Her purse and jewellery were missing .She died of a heart attack," Supt Zainal Abidin added.
He said two people claimed they saw six men around Cheng after she fell but when they approached the scene, the men rode off on their motorcycles.
Supt ZainalAbidin appealed to eyewitnesses to cantact the police at 04-5306402.
