４つ星ホテルで売春行為摘発

バタワース：イミグレーションは火曜日、４つ星ホテル「ジョージ・タウン」で中国からの売春婦６人を逮捕したと発表した。逮捕された女性たちは年齢が２０歳から３５歳でホテル内に部屋を偽名で与えられていた。摘発を逃れるため、頻繁に部屋を変えていたとみられる。不適切な行為は７月から行われていた。６人はソーシャルビザで入国していた。

Six ‘China Dolls’ nabbed at hotel

BUTTERWORTH: The Immigration Department detained six women from China, believed to be involved in immoral activities, at a four-star hotel in George Town.

State Immigration Department director Abdul Rahman Harun said the women aged between 20 and 35 were detained during a raid at 10pm on Tuesday.

“The women were given a room each to entertain their clients since July. The rooms were booked under different names and the group will shift their rooms after a while to avoid detection by the authorities,” he said at a press conference at the state Immigration headquarters here on Thursday.

Abdul Rahman said his personnel was forced to wait up to nearly an hour to enter a room after one of the women refused to open it.

“When they finally entered the room with the help of the hotel management, they found a couple inside.

“The man claimed his partner was a prostitute,” he said.

Abdul Rahman said all the women had entered the country on a social visit pass.
