高級車の窃盗団を逮捕

ペタリン・ジャヤ：警察は高級車専門の窃盗グループを逮捕したと発表した。捕まったのは31歳から39歳の男女６人で、６台の車を盗んだ疑い。盗まれた車はメルセデス・ベンツＥ200、ホンダ・アコード、トヨタ・カムリ、ナザ・リア、プロトン・ペルダナＶ6、プロトン・ワジャで、被害総額はＲＭ５０万に昇る。犯行グループは盗難車を市場に売りさばき、お金を得ていた。

警察は他にも犯行に加わっていた人間がいるとして、２名を指名手配して行方を捜している。

Car theft syndicate smashed

PETALING JAYA: Police here have smashed a syndicate stealing luxury cars with the arrest of six men and a woman. Six cars worth RM500,000 have also be recovered.

“The cars, a Mercedes Benz E200, a Honda Accord, a Toyota Camry, a Naza Ria, a Proton Perdana V6 and a Proton Waja were supposed to have been sold in the local market,” said Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Arjunaidi Mohamed.

The suspects, aged between 31 and 39, are being investigated under Section 395 of the Penal Code for armed robbery.

ACP Arjunaidi said police are looking for two more people to help in the investigations: Nesa Gandh a/l Batumalai, 27, from Taman Tun Dr Ismail, and Sudhakar a/l Ikbal Singh, 27, from Kota Damansara.
