タバコの密輸船摘発

[バンティン]　今年に入ってからの最大の大捕り物。セランゴール・マリーン警察は昨日未明、バンティンのクラナン近くのマングローブの未収地帯でＲＭ350,000相当のタバコを密輸しようとしていたボートを拿捕した。マリーン警察はランガット川で数時間待ち伏せし、真夜中にボートを急襲した。

密輸船を操っていたのはインドネシア人とみられ、ボートを急襲する際、闇夜にまぎれて川に飛び込みボートを捨てて逃げていった。

RM 350,000 worth of clove cigarettes seized

BANTING:In one its biggest successes fo far this year,the Selangor marine police seized clove cigarettes worth more than RM350,000 when they intercepted a boat at the mangrove swamp near Kelanang in Banting early yesterday.
Selangor marine police chief Deputy Superintendent N.Kalai Chelvan said that following a tip-off , a team waited in ambush in Sungai Langat for several hours befor spotting the boat just after midnight.

The smugglers , believed to be Indonesians,jumped into the river and escaped into the darkness when their boat was intercepted by the police.
