女優ヌル・ファズラの公判開かれる

[　クアラルンプール　]　昨日、２２歳の女優ヌル・ファズラ・シャリフッディンの公判が開かれた。彼女は映画にも出演しているが、昨年１２月１９日、ディスコで主婦をハイヒールで傷つけた容疑をもたれている。午前９時３５分、ヌル・ファズラは保証人とともに裁判所に到着した。主婦のジェラルディン・マリアナ・ウォンはヌル・ファズラによって左目と額に怪我をさせられたと訴えているが、この件に関しては双方が訴状を提出している。加えて、ウォンは脅迫まがいのことをされたと訴えているが、一方のヌル・ファズラは正当防衛を主張している。ヌル・ファズラの有罪か確定すれば、最長1年の服役とRM２０００の罰金が課せられることになる。

NUR FAZURA IN DISCO DISPUTE

[ KUALA LUMPUR ] Nur Fazura Sharifuddin was all smiles at the magistrate's court yesterday.
The 22-year-old actress,who starred in the movie,Qaisy & Laila,is facing a summons charge of hurting a housewife with her high-heel shoes at a discotheque on Dec 19,last year.
When her case was mentioned befor magistrate Mohd Aimi Zaini Mohd Azhar,Nor Fazura demurely made her way to the front of the court room and stood just outside the dock.
The actress,who is on bail of RM1,000 in one surety,arrived at 9.35am,accompanied by a male and a female companion.
Her counsel,Fakhrul Azman Abu Hassan,then requested that the defence be furnished with copies of the police report,first information report and caution statement.
Fakrul Azman told the court that he had contacted Dang Wangi police to obtain these documents,byt was told that they could only be handed over when the court gave an order.
Mohd Aimi,however,said there was no need for a court order,and told counsel to obtain the documents from the investigating officer.
The magistrate fixed Aug 8 for a second mention.
Nur Fazura is alleged to have committed the offence against Geraldine Mariana Wong,at 1.20am at the Bar Luna,Pacific Regency Hote & Apartments in Jalan Kia Peng.
Following the incident,Nur Fazura and Wong,lodged reports against each other.
In her report,Wong said that as a result of the attack,she was left with a bruise on her left eye,and injuries on her forehead.
Wong also alleged in her report that Nur Fazura approached her and started a commotion.The actress,however,logded a report alleging that she acted in self-defence.
Under Section 323 of the Penal Code,she faces a maximum jail term of one year and a fine of RM2,000 , if convicted.
