古い交通違反金、今なら半額

[　アンパン　]　車のダッシュボードや戸棚に入ったままの違反切符を支払うなら今がチャンス。アンパン・ジャヤ・市当局は今月に限り交通違反もしくはそれ以外の違反切符の支払いを５０％引きにすると発表した。これはＭＰＡＪの１３周年記念の一環として行われる。「ディスカウントは未納者にとって魅力的なはず」と当局は語る。２００３年は25,440枚の違反切符が切られたが、回収できたのはＲＭ497,545（約1,500万円）のみで、ＲＭ2,170,000(約6,500万円）が未納となっている。

{ AMPANG ] It is time to get the old compounds out of the dashboards and drawers.
This month,the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council is offering a 50 per cent discount for every compound paid for traffic and non-traffic offences.
The offer is in conjunction with MPAJ's 13th anniversary.
"The dicsount is to attract defaulters to pay up,"said council president Ahmad Shafil Saidin.
In 2003 ,the council issued 25,440 compounds and only RM497,545 were collected.The council recorded RM2.17 million in arrears.
Another RM1.63 million for summonses issued last year have yet to be paid.
"This year,we recorded an arrears of RM507.795. So far,only RM159,690 were collected from 2,149 compounds,"he said.
