改札通過ができる携帯開発

[ 東京 ]　昨日、東京のホテルでＫＤＤＩが開発した携帯電話の発表が行われた。この携帯は日本の大手鉄道会社ＪＲ東日本の自動改札機をくぐりぬけるもの。ＩＣチップはソニーのスマートカードが用いられている。ＪＲ東日本は来年1月からこの携帯に対応したサービスを始めると発表した。

A model uses a mobile phone handset produced by KDDI to go through the automated ticket gate of Japan's largest railway operator JR East during a demonstration of the new cellular phone equipped with Sony's smartcard IC chip at a Tokyo hotel yesterday.JR East will launch the prepaid train tickets service with mobile phones this coming January.
