２１年前の殺人容疑で逮捕

シンガポールで働いていた48歳のビジネスマンが21年前の殺人容疑で逮捕された。このマレーシア人はシンガポールで1984年に指名手配を受けながら、結婚もし平穏な生活を送っていた。しかし、彼の幸運は続かなかった。先週の金曜日、チェラスのタマン・シャメリンの歓楽街で警察の無作為の職務質問を受け、御用となった。この男性は木曜日までマレーシアで拘束され、その後シンガポール警察に移送される。

Murder suspect caught after 21 years

FOR 21 years,a 48-year-old businessman managed to bury his past and got away for a crime he allegedly committed while working in Singapore.
The Malaysian led a normal life,set up a business and got married despite being on Singapore's wanted list for a murder in 1984.
However,his luck ran out last Friday when police uncovered his identity during an 11.30pm randam check at an entertainment outlet in Taman Shamelin in Cheras,Selangor.
The suspect , a father of one,was detained after a check revealed that he is wanted in Singapore.
Cheras CID chief,Superintendent Tan Ah Chua said the man who is being held until Thursday ,will be handed to Singapore police soon for further action.
It is learned that the suspect had fled Singapore after he was involved in a fight which ended in a death.
He returned to Malaysia and has been keeping a low profile since then.
