エア・アジアが２都市に新路線

　[ クアラルンプール ]　エア・アジア・ブルハッドはこのたび、タイのチェンマイ、カンボジアのプノンペンに新たに路線を拡大することを発表した。どちらもクアラルンプール発で、毎日運航する。１０月２０日にチェンマイ、１１月１日にプノンペン行きがスタートする。チェンマイ直行便は、タイではバンコク、プーケット、ハジャイについで４番目の都市になる。就航を祝い、エアアジアは両路線とも10,000席に限り、ＲＭ49.99で提供する。（空港使用料、税は含まず。片道のみ）

AirAsia to service Chiang Mai, Phnom Penh routes

[ KUALA LUMPUR ] AirAsia Berhad is expanding its wings to two new international routes -- Chiang Mai,Thailand,and Phnom Penh,Cambodia.
The daily services to Chiang Mai will start on Oct 20, while Phonom Penh flights depart from Nov 1.Both flights depart from KL International Airport.
Group chief executive officer Datuk Tony Fernandes said AirAsia would be the first and the only airline to offer direct flights between Kuala Lumpur and Chiang Mai.
"This destination marks the fourth major city in Thailand for AirAsia after Bangkok,Phuket and Hat Yai."he said .
He said that the inclusion of Phnom Penh to AirAsia's network would further strengthen the group's connectivity and increasing presence in the region.
"Thai AirAsia's upcoming venture on Oct 17,via flights to Hanoi ,Vietnam,from Bangkok signals that the group covers most of the major cities in South-East Asia,"he said.
To commemorate its latest expansion,10,000 seats to each destinatio would be offered at introductory fares from Rm49.99 from or to each destination.
The fares are excluding airport tax and fees,and applicable for one-way travel only.
