高速でタイヤ交換中に事故死

[ セレンバン ]昨日（11/13）午後12時15分ごろ、 フルーツを運搬中のトラック運転手が高速の路肩でタイヤ交換をしていたところ、ジャッキが外れ、荷物に下敷きとなって死亡した。死亡したのはクアラ・クラワンのタマン・ペタリン出身のリム・キーン・アウンさん（29）で南北高速道路の249km地点で事故に巻き込まれた。リムさんはクアラルンプールからジョホールまで果物を運搬する途中だった。同乗していた15歳の少年によると、事故は突然に起き、ほんの数メートルのところにいたが助けることができなかったという。

Man crushed to death while changing tyre

[ SEREMBAN ] A lorry laden with fruits being jacked up to replace its flat tyre crashed on the driver,killing him instantly.
Lim Kean Aun,29,from Taman Petaling in Kuala Klawang ,was crushed to death in the incident at Km 249km of the North-South Expressway at 12.15pm yesterday.
He was travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Segamat,Johor,to deliver the fruits.
Gan Chee Onn , 15,who had accompanied Lim in the lorry,said when they realised that the rear tyre was flat.Lim stopped the lorry in the emergency lane.
Unable to raise the heavy lorry with one jack.Lim used two jacks instead.
Gan said after removing the flat tyre.Lim was replacing it when the lorry slipped off the jack and crashed on him.
"I was standing several metres away and it happened quickly.I could not do anything to help him,"he said .
Gan managed to flagged down a passing car and the driver contacted the Fire and Rescue services Department.
A team of five firemen extricated Lim's body and sent it to Seremban Hospital for a post-mortem.
